For the Italian campus of a major international organization, VINCI Energies Building Solutions Italia implemented an advanced energy monitoring project leveraging the capabilities of the Xsona Energy solution.

Through a heatmap visualization that differentiates energy consumption with a color scale ranging from warm to cool depending on the time of day and day of the week, the system detected areas where energy was being consumed despite the absence of activity.

Thanks to the data provided by Xsona Energy sensors, it was discovered that the lighting system remained active without operational necessity.

Identifying this inefficiency allowed immediate corrective actions to be implemented, such as configuring the lighting system to switch off in the absence of activity or personnel.
